Eventually EVE Burt Error saw an English release in 1999 courtesy of Himeya Soft USA, who published the title on their online store, which later saw a re-release in 2012 from MangaGamer. The title was initially developed and released for the NEC PC-98 on Novemwith enhanced ports later being released for the Sega Saturn and PC in 1997, featuring redrawn artwork and voice acting. This "Multi-Sight" system allows the player to switch between both protagonists at any time during the game and often requires the player to have both protagonists co-operate with each other at various points during the game. The game is a "Multi-Sight Adventure Game" where two different protagonists, a private investigator named Kojiroh and intelligence agent named Marina, provide different perspectives on the story.
